You should see a blinking white light on your ring when it is charging. When your ring is fully charged, the light will not blink and will turn solid green depending on the state of its battery, your Oura Ring may take anywhere from 20 to 80 minutes to charge completely.

No, it’s not possible to check the Oura ring battery without the phone. 

However, the Gen 3 charger has a red, green, and blue LED. The white charger LED lights up once and then fades away, which is helpful for knowing the charging status. 

Can You Know Your Battery Status Of A Gen 2 Ring With Charger?

Both Gen2 and Gen3 rings work with Gen2 and Gen3 chargers. On the other hand, the red-green-blue (RGB) LED on the Gen3 charger helps you understand how much power it has left. 

This color feature is not supported when a Gen2 ring is being charged with a Gen3 charger.
