- To do this, you need to go to the ‘Find My’ App on your Mac. You can simply find this by typing it in the search bar.
- Next, I click on Devices.
- Then I select ‘AirPods’, and a map showing the last location pops up. To know the exact location, I click on ‘Play Sounds’ and it plays a sound when the AirPod is nearby.
- Once I detect my AirPods, I click on ‘Stop Sound’ in the same settings.
How to Find My AirPods From Windows
If you don’t have a Mac, then you can also find them on Windows.
- Open a browser and log in to your iCloud. You have to be logged in with the same iCloud account you use for your AirPods, or this method won’t work.
- After logging in, go to Find My.
- They click on All Devices.
- Then, click on AirPods, and a map will display to help you locate your AirPods.
Why Don’t You Locate Your Lost AirPods
I am so confident in these tricks and tips that they work every time, but there was this one time when they didn’t work. I wondered why it could be. Well, it is highly because of two significant reasons.
Firstly, if the Find My option isn’t turned on on your phone before losing your AirPods, then you cannot locate them. This feature must be enabled for your iOS devices to track it.
