Listening to songs on my AirPods has always been my jam. I become fully dysfunctional without this in my life. However, with the new AirPods 4, I had to get accustomed to their settings.

One of the most important settings was how to skip songs with AirPods 4. If you’ve just got your hands on them and want to set them up, follow these three steps to do it with ease.
How To Skip Songs With AirPods 4
- I press the force sensor on the stem of the AirPods to play and pause the music. To resume it, I press the same button again.
- If you want to go ahead or skip the song, then double-press the force sensor.
- If you want to skip back to your previous song, then you can triple-press the force sensor.
- To turn up the volume, I open the app I am listening to and slide the volume button upwards. You can also drag the volume slider of your iPhone or Mac, whichever one you are using to listen to music. To turn it down, follow the same steps and drag the volume button down.
Final Thoughts
Skipping songs with AirPods 4 should not be a problem anymore. Although there are some things I don’t like about AirPods 4, such as how they always fall out of my ears, the option to skip songs is more flexible.
If you are totally reliant on your AirPods 4 and want good music in the background to be more productive, then you know how to do it. Since Apple has made AirPods 4 so pocket-friendly with adaptive EQ, you must use them to the fullest. These AirPods also balance the frequency of the sound level, which is something new.
