After a lot of contemplation and thought, I finally decided to get into my healthy era with Nike Run Club. Since I already have an Apple Watch, I decided to sync Nike Run Club with my Apple Watch to get into my zone.

Nike Run Club is the perfect way to receive personalized training from experts and track your progress. I personally like this fitness app because it offers over 300+ guided training and workouts. They even offer fitness tips based on your results to awaken the fitness freak within you.
Here is how you can sync Nike Run Club with Apple Watch. I also mentioned the factors that prevent the sync from happening. So make sure you read until the end, so as not to miss out on any vital information.
How To Sync Nike Run Club With Apple Watch
- I start by going to Settings first.
- There, I click on Privacy & Security, followed by Health.
- Then I click on Nike Run Club.
- Finally, I select the data that I would like to receive, like heart rate, workout, running distance, etc.

Why Nike Run Club Is Not Syncing With Apple Watch
Ideally, there should be no issue when syncing the two together. However, if you do find some issues, then here are some of the problems that are occurring:
Permission Not Granted
This seems like a no-brainer, but when I was a beginner, I made this mistake too. I installed Nike Run Club on both my Apple Watch and iPhone; however, I didn’t turn on the permissions.

- I grant permissions by going to the Settings option on my iPhone.
- Then I click on ‘Privacy & Security.’
- There I go to the Motion & Fitness option.
- Next, I go to fitness tracking and ensure Nike Run Club is enabled.
Furthermore, you can also scroll down to the watch app on your iPhone and enable permissions for heart rate, blood oxygen, and fitness tracking, too.
When you do not grant the permissions, then the insights are not recorded. Just like you need to turn on permissions for other apps, the same theory applies here. While setting everything up, ensure that you enable permissions for this app as well.
Third-Party Apps Are Interferring
A friend of mine is a total gym freak, so he has all kinds of fitness apps on his phone and Apple Watch. If that is the case with you as well, then third-party apps can interfere with Nike Run Club insights.
If your Apple Watch also has other fitness apps like Garmin or Strava, then it can lead to conflict. Since these apps are already recording data, Nike Run Club might fail in doing so. To get the best results from your Nike Run Club, I would suggest focusing on one thing at a time. Delete all the other apps and use only one particular app for getting accurate insights.
Poor Internet Connection
By now, you should already know that most apps run smoothly with a good internet connection, and the same goes for this one. If you have a poor internet connection, then your insights will not be recorded.
When I am using my GPS-only Apple Watch, I make sure it is connected to Wi-Fi at least so that my data gets registered. To avoid taking any risks, I enable both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on my Apple Watch. If both are on, then you would have no difficulty getting your real-time insights.
Not Logged In With The Same Apple ID
Logging in with the same Apple ID is very important. If you have more than one Apple ID and you log in with a separate one for your iPhone and Apple Watch, then there will be difficulty in registering similar data. This situation is very frustrating, which is why if you are just setting everything up, remember to log in with the same ID.
Software Not Updated
Finally, if your software is not updated, you know what happens. This not only applies to Nike Run Club, but also to any other apps downloaded on your iPhone and Apple Watch. Updating software for your Apple Watch and iPhone is crucial to make sure all apps are running properly.
I have also seen that updated software is less prone to being attacked by bugs, which creates another issue. To check recent updates, go to settings, then look for updates, if any. I always keep all of my devices updated to make sure that they perform the best.
Final Thoughts
These are some of the major reasons why your Nike Run Club is not syncing with your Apple Watch and iPhone. If you are looking for a quick solution, then simply reconnect both gadgets. If it still doesn’t work, then restart the devices and pair them again.
Honestly, I did not have much difficulty syncing the two gadgets together, and neither will you. Make sure you follow the steps I have mentioned to have a good and healthy life, and keep updated about it.
