Lately, I have observed a wild upsurge of people investing in Apple products. While the Apple Watch is the most bought item, I believe next is AirPods? However, I always wondered if you can use AirPods with your Windows Laptop.

Just after my first try, I came to know that yes, you can. This is good news that needs to be shared because you do not need a MacBook to enjoy your precious AirPods. You can do it with your Windows, too. Here’s how to connect AirPods of any model to your Windows device of any edition.
How To Connect AirPods To a Windows Laptop
Open the AirPods Case
I start by opening the case while the AirPods are still inside. I wait for a few seconds before the connection is established. If your AirPods are below 20% charge, then there will be difficulty in connecting them.
Press the Setup Button
The setup button is a small button that is on the inside of older AirPods and in the front of newer AirPods. While I am pressing it, I hold it until the LED light starts blinking. Keep in mind that until you see this, your AirPods are not in connection mode.
Open Start Menu On Your Windows
Next, I go to my Windows and click on the Start menu.
Click on Settings
Now you need to go to the Settings icon of the menu,
Go To Bluetooth & Settings
Once I am in the settings menu, I scroll down to the Bluetooth menu. I have noticed that different versions of Windows have their Bluetooth settings in different places.
Add Bluetooth Device
After you click the Bluetooth button, click “Add a Bluetooth device.” Once you do this, you will find a list of options like wireless, display, and many more.
Select Your AirPods
I wait for a few seconds, and a list of devices pops up based on the option you click. Once I see my AirPods, I click on them.
Choose Done
After I select my AirPods, I see a “Done” message, which confirms that the connection is established.
Final Thoughts
Regardless of the Windows version you are using, if you have a stable Bluetooth connection, you should be able to use your AirPods. The misconception that AirPods only work with iPhone or Mac is entirely wrong. However, there are times when I was unable to connect my AirPods to my Windows.
If you face a similar situation, it is likely due to a lack of charge in your AirPods, Windows edition, or Bluetooth issues. With a few adjustments, you’ll be good to go. So, if you have AirPods and a Windows device, then let this connection thrive without waiting to buy a MacBook.
