I have been using Natural Cycles for as long as I can remember, and it’s really important to me that the smart ring I wear syncs with it, too. This is why I wondered if my Evie Ring would work with Natural Cycles or not.

And well, although my Evie Ring does allow me to track my period, it does NOT sync with Natural Cycles. In fact, as of now, Natural Cycles only works with Oura Ring and Apple Watch.
Why Evie Ring Does Not Sync With Natural Cycles?
Now, I know that you must be wondering why Evie Ring doesn’t sync with Natural Cycles; that was the first question that I had, too.
Well, in the simplest of terms, it is because Evie’s temperature tracking isn’t designed for the level of precision that Natural Cycles requires. The Evie Ring only tracks temperature trends to the tenth of a degree Celsius (0.1°C), and it isn’t enough for ovulation prediction.
Well, this does sound slightly misleading on the part of a ring that’s especially designed with women’s needs in mind, but we do need to cut Evie some slack.
It’s a new entrant in the field of smart wearables and might only be prioritizing broader health and sleep-tracking features in its initial stages. Its focus may not be on optimizing temperature tracking for ovulation and period prediction just yet.
With this in consideration, it might be unfair to compare it to other wearables that offer this feature and also have been in the market for way longer.
Apart from this, Natural Cycles is known to integrate with variables that have undergone certain testing and meet some medical standards to ensure that the data they provide works with the algorithm’s needs. Evie, being a new entrant in the field, might not be there just yet.
While the Evie Ring also offers features, its approach to cycle tracking is different in comparison to other wearables like the Oura Ring. The Evie Ring tends to track temperature trends after ovulation has occurred; I have to manually log in the start and end dates of my period.
I have been doing it for a few cycles now, just a month or two more, and then the Evie app will start predicting my cycles on the basis of the data I have entered.
So, while the Evie Ring offers cycle tracking features, it’s approach is to focus on confirming ovulation after it has happened, in comparison to predicting it like Natural Cycle does. This means, the Evie Ring will not be able to provide the kind of data that Natural Cycles needs for its fertility algorithm.
Will Evie Ring Ever Work With Natural Cycles?
As of now, Evie hasn’t announced any plans of integrating with Natural Cycles. This means syncing with Natural Cycles to predict ovulation may or may not be a part of Evie’s future development plans.
But, if Evie wants to see a rise in its user base and also make the existing users happy, it should introduce the ovulation prediction feature ASAP. Better yet, it should start syncing with Natural Cycles. Personally speaking, it will make my life so much easier.
Conveniently enough, Evie has said that they are working on launching the ovulation prediction feature also. It will be introduced in Q2- Q3, as per them. But it’s already Q2, and we don’t have it yet. So, given how Evie tends to delay things, I am expecting to have the feature by the end of the year.
Also, when the cycle tracking feature is launched, we won’t necessarily have to purchase a new model, as Evie is aiming to update its software that will have the feature.

Wrap Up
So, now you know whether the Evie Ring can be synced with Natural Cycles or not. And well, even though the ring cannot be synced with Natural Cycles yet, It will be very convenient for me to have the sync feature.
But if it’s really Natural Cycles fertility prediction features that you seek, then you might want to explore other wearable options that do integrate with them.
It will be very convenient for me and for everyone as well to have the sync feature as and when it happens, etc etc. also talk about upcoming features etc etc
