The one thing I miss with my Oura Ring is calculating the calorie intake and macros throughout the day. I track my calorie intake with MyFitnessPal but I didn’t find a direct integration with the Oura App. Luckily, I found a way around it.
I know calorie counting is not sustainable long-term, but for people who aren’t genetically blessed with a size 0 body, having this feature in my Oura Ring would be a game changer. If you’re looking to integrate this data with your Oura as well, follow along these steps.
How to Sync Oura Ring With MyFitnessPal on an iPhone?
Unfortunately, even with an iPhone, there is no direct integration, and we needed a mediator app– Apple Health, to play the part.

Wrap Up
I admit merging my Oura data with my calorie tracking and macros via MyFitnessPal has been a dream, but the journey to achieve that dream took far too long. It may seem complicated at first, but if you follow along the steps I took for the same, you’re in for a treat.
Till then, here’s hoping Oura and MyFitnessPal come up with a direct integration for a more seamless user experience.
