How To Pre-Order The VELIA Smart Ring?

I am quite in awe of the new VELIA Ring. It has one of the sleekest designs I’ve ever seen, 18 LEDs, 6 Photodiodes — unique tech is one way to put it, and so much more to offer!

Out of excitement, I have already pre-ordered the VELIA smart ring. The process was quite straightforward, but while in the middle of it, I felt that a lot of people might want some help following it. If you’re one of those people, then this article is for you.

Pre-Order The VELIA Smart Ring

Step 1: Go To The Official Website & Select “Pre-Order”

Open a web browser of your choice and go to the official VELIA ring website. At the bottom right corner of VELIA’s homepage, you will have the “Pre-order now” card in blue. Click on it.

Step 3: Pick Your Perk

On clicking that option, you will be taken to Indiegogo, a crowdfunding platform that VELIA is using to seek contributions for its project and also handling orders.

From here, click on the “PICK YOUR PERK” option in violet. The option says “PICK YOUR PERK” instead of “Choose A Ring” or something like that because I think pre-ordering the ring comes with certain benefits. So, when you’re selecting a ring variant, you are also selecting the perks.

Note: When selecting that option, a menu will appear on the screen. At the top of the menu, you will have the option to make a contribution to support the project. By default, the field has “10” mentioned for a Fr 10 CHF contribution. But the contribution hasn’t got anything to do with your order. You can leave the field as is. The 10 CHF will not be included in your order.

Furthermore, the website itself states that “Contributions are not associated with perks.”

Step 4: Choose A Ring

Now from the menu that appears, you have to choose a ring, or lets say “pick a perk”, for yourself. As of now, only three variants are available— Black, Gold, and Silver.

All of them are available can be pre-ordered for the same price and perks, like a free lifetime subscription to the app. So, your choice of a ring can simply be based on the color; you don’t have to take the associated perks into consideration.

These are the color options available at the moment:

• Gold Edition

Note: I chose the Gold edition given how well this variant could go with the other rings I wear on my hands.

• Silver Edition

• Other Options (Currently Sold Out/ Not in Stock):

Once you’ve chosen a ring for yourself, click on the “GET THIS PERK” button located below it.

Step 7: Proceed to Checkout

Next, you will be taken to another page where you can review your order. Here, you will see the total cost of your ring, shipping charges, if any, your savings on the ring, etc. Once you’ve reviewed your total, click on the “Proceed to Checkout” option.

Step 8: Enter Address & Payment Details

You will now be taken to another page where you have to enter the details of your shipping address, such as your full name, country, street address, city, postal code, and phone number.

Once you’ve entered the phone number, you have to add your payment details, like your card number, expiration date, security code, and country.

Note: On the right side of the screen, you will see an option called “Indiegogo Tip.” By default, a certain amount will be added to it. You have the option to change that added amount. But know that tipping Indiegogo is optional and not necessary. So, you can select the drop-down icon, choose “Other Amount” from the payment options, and enter 0 in the field.

Step 9: Submit Payment

Once you’ve added all the required details, click on “Submit Payment.”

Note: Before clicking on the Submit Payment button, you need to tick the checkboxes present above it. The first one is optional. But, you will have to agree to the “Terms of Use” and “Privacy Policy” one.
