As each time the optical sensors capture information after 5-seconds, the amount of data points created becomes overwhelming for the processors of typical smartwatches. Even with the substantial increase in sensors’ performance, Apple guarantees that the Apple Watch S12 meets the “all-day” criteria of providing up to 24 hours of daily wear. In case of an athlete, he/she will be able to wear it for 10 hours during an intense outdoor exercise routine, which means the new watch delivers 25% more battery life than the previous Apple Watch Series 11 version. For those who need to extend the maximum usage period of the watch, there is also a  “Low Power Mode” which ensures a duration of 38 hours.

Charging time has been considerably improved as well. The new watch supports fast charging and within 30 minutes, it charges to 80 percent.
