Wearable Tech at CES 2026: The Biggest Smartwatches, Rings & AI Glasses

The halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center were buzzing this year, but not with the usual roar of world-first gimmicks. Instead, the wearable tech at CES 2026 revealed a sector that has finally grown up.

Wearable tech overview at CES 2026

We are no longer seeing devices that try to do everything, we are seeing specialized tools that are designed to do a few things exceptionally well. This year’s shift from flashy, experimental concepts to practical, everyday usability marks 2026 as the year of refinement.

The Integration of Artificial Intelligence has moved from a marketing buzzword to a silent, background intelligence, just like we had predicted. Whether it is a ring that translates your thoughts or glasses that translate a foreign language in a sub-millisecond time, the wearable tech at CES 2026 highlights how AI is now infrastructure.

I will take you on a deep dive into the main 4 pillars of the wearable tech industry and the standout products they featured at CES 2026.

Smart Watches

The smart watch segment at CES 2026 proved that the wrist wars are shifting away from screen size towards battery longevity and specialized features. While mainstream players continue their market dominance, the standout story this year came from brands that focus on distraction-free living with extreme endurance.

Moto Watch

The Amazfit Active Max stood out in the wearable tech category at CES 2026 as the ultimate value proposition for fitness enthusiasts. With a large 1.5-inch ultra-bright display that gives upto 3000 nits of peak brightness.

It also helps to track health, in which by utilizing the Bio Tracker PPG biometric sensor, it will provide 24-hour monitoring of heart rate, stress and blood oxygen. It also introduces advanced recovery insights through its PeakBeats system, which calculates training load and VO2 Max, offering the kind of depth that only sports watches used to do.

With over 170 sports modes and smart recognition for strength training, it acts as a digital coach on the wrist. The battery is also impressive, with a 658mAh capacity that offers up to 25 days of battery life, or if you continuously use GPS tracking, it will give you a battery life of 64 hours. This will make it an ideal choice for hikers and marathon runners.

By offering dual-band circular-polarized GPS and integration with third-party apps like Strava and Adidas Running, Amazfit provides an open ecosystem that doesn’t just lock users into a single brand.

Pebble Round 2

The crowd literally gasped when Pebble announced its Pebble Round 2 at CES 2026. Yes, the legend is back with its low-power, distraction-free smartwatches. In an era of vibrant, glowing screens, the Round 2 purposefully goes the other way. Utilizing a 1.3-inch color e-paper display that is always-on, it is perfectly visible in bright light without draining power.

It’s just 8.1mm thick, which makes it currently one of the thinnest smartwatches on the market. Pebble has made a bold choice here to omit a heart rate sensor

Despite its slim design, the Round 2 offers 10-14 days of battery life while handling basic steps, sleep monitoring and notifications with a minimalist interface. It features dual microphones for voice input, allowing users to reply to texts quickly without needing a touchscreen keyboard.

You can pre-order the Pebble Round 2 smart watch for $199 USD from its official website and the shipping will begin in May 2026.

Smart Glasses

If 2025 was the year of smart frames, 2026 will be the year of functional optics. The wearable tech at CES 2026 shows us the smart glasses splitting into two distinct paths: high-fidelity AR for entertainment and ultra-lightweight AI frames for productivity.

Pebble made a second entry at CES 2026, this time with a smart ring, the Pebble Index 1. In a shocking move, Pebble has rejected biometrics entirely with this ring. Instead, it focuses on a single, powerful function: it captures voice notes and reminders through a physical button built into the ring.

With a single tap, you can record a thought, which will be added to your notes without even touching your phone. You can also set them as a reminder or save them for later review. It’s made of durable stainless steel 316 and is water-resistant up to 1 meter

Like all Pebble products, it is also extremely customizable through its app and is built with open-source software. It’s currently available for pre-order at $75 and the price will go up to $99 when it officially launches in March 2026.

The Vocci AI Note-Taking Ring is a productivity powerhouse that is designed for professionals. While the Pebble Index 1 is for your quick thoughts, the Vocci ring is built for professionals like lawyers, journalists, or executives. This titanium ring can record up to 8 hours of audio on a single charge, which allows you to capture conversations and even lectures from the comfort of your finger.

This ring uses a double-click system to start and stop recording, with the single clicks used to mark important moments for its AI to highlight later. Once the audio is synced to the Vocci app, it produces a full transcript with automatic speaker labels and a concise AI-generated summary. It also has a charging case that can charge the ring back to full in just thirty minutes

Does that mean I can finally take a break from pretending to be interested in a Zoom meeting? Maybe. When I think of wearable tech at CES 2026, this is what I mean!
