Being an introvert, having my AirPods on has been a part of my personality for as long as I can remember. However, these cute little companions of mine need to be charged from time to time. Charging your AirPods is easy and even more straightforward if your AirPod case is already charged. However, what if the charging case is out of power?
Even if your charging case is out of charge, you can still use your AirPods, provided they have some battery charge left. However, if the AirPods have lost their battery, then you have no other option than to charge the charging case to restore the connection.
How To Connect AirPods To Your Iphone Even With A Dead Charging Case
AirPods and the AirPod case have separate charges. Even if my charging case is dead, my AirPods still have some battery left. First, ensure that your AirPods have a charged battery; otherwise, they won’t connect. Then, follow the steps below.
- Go to the Bluetooth settings of your device.
- Since my AirPods are previously paired, I find them in the list of paired devices.
- Then, I click on it and it automatically connects my AirPods to my device.
How To Connect AirPods With A Dead Battery Case to Your Mac
- To connect AirPods to your Mac, start by going to the Bluetooth settings.
- If your Bluetooth is off, then turn it on, and a menu will appear.
- Look for paired devices in the list if previously paired and click on them.
How To Connect AirPods to Android
- To connect AirPods with an Android device, go to the settings.
- Then click on the Bluetooth icon.
- On the list of paired devices, you can look for your AirPods.
- Finally, connect them and enjoy.
How To Connect AirPods With A Charging Case Again
Well, you cannot go without your charging case forever, so you need it to charge again. Once the AirPods run out of charge, you can put them back in the case and charge them again.
To reconnect it with your devices again, you need to hold the case up. Once you do this, you will see the light flash on the case. Wait until it turns from amber to white. To ensure this happens smoothly, I always hold my case near the device I want to pair it with.
Open the Bluetooth settings and connect the AirPods with your device again. If you do not see the name of your AirPods appearing, you need to reset the settings. To reboot, hold the setup button for about 15 seconds. This will make the light flash up from amber to white. Once you see the flash turn white, the connection is made.

Having a low or no battery in your charging case may seem like a big problem, but it is temporary. If your AirPods are well charged, then you can use them as long as the battery lasts. Once the battery of your AirPods dies, you need to place them in the charging case to recharge them.
So while the charging case looks like a box, it is actually helpful. It helps in recharging your AirPods and also protects them. Another important thing is that you can only connect with previously paired devices with a dead charging case.
