How To Show Steps On Apple Watch Face?

If there’s one fitness industry trend I keep circling back to, it’s the 10K steps a day. Somehow, I wish my Apple Watch would magically show more than 2000 steps after a day at my desk. But checking my number of steps is a bit of a hassle when I look at it at least 50 times a day!

How to check steps on the Apple Watch

If you don’t want the hassle of downloading an additional app on your watch or iPhone just to see the steps on the watch face, you can still check the number of steps from the Activity app on your Apple Watch.

  1. Press the Digital Crown to see all apps and tap on the Activity app.
  2. Swipe up by using the Digital Crown or your finger to the fifth screen, where Steps, Distance, and Flights Climbed are shown. This is where you can see your step count for the day.

Wrap Up

Ok, I might have been a little dramatic when I said it’s a hassle pulling up the Activity app and scrolling through the rings to see my step count. But for someone like me, who gets a little obsessive over seeing that number hit 10K, it gets annoying.

By having this number right on my wrist, I know I will be motivated to move more. So, if you are also looking to increase your step count, consider adding it to your watch face.
