So, it might be possible that the company wants the users to keep thinking about the ability the Galaxy ring possesses. That’s why they are not revealing everything at a time and saving the announcement for a future unveiling to maximize impact.

Talking about payments, the first thing that comes to my mind is security. With the advent of technology, it is possible now to make payments with just a small ring (of course, supporting NFC). So, to keep the users satisfied regarding security, it might be possible that the company is taking its time.

As you know, a wearable watch requires a screen lock to enable cashless payments, which is not possible for a screenless ring (though it’s smart). So, I think it’s possible that security might need to be addressed adequately within the Samsung wearable mobile app settings.
