Since I’m using Ultrahuman Ring AIR and now paired with the M1 Glucose Monitoring patch, it’s like having a personal health assistant right at my fingertips. So, if you do not know how Ultrahuman Ring AIR and M1 syncing can do this magic, let me share my insights with you.

How To Sync Ultrahuman Ring AIR With M1?

I’m not an athlete, but my fitness goal certainly includes managing certain metabolic disorders. When I came across the Ultrahuman M1 Glucose Monitoring, I thought using this technology could be difficult. But that’s not true at all!

The Ultrahuman M1 live pack includes a CGM sensor applicator, alcohol wipes, and protective hypoallergenic patches. The best time to install the sensor is upon waking up (when you are on an empty stomach and your Glucose is stable).

1. Unscrew the cap of the Libre 3 sensor applicator and set it aside. Do not put the cap back on, as it may damage the glucose sensor.

2. Open up your alcohol wipe and clean the triceps area with it. Let it dry. (Make sure that part is shaved and does not contain any scars, moles, or lumps)

3. Raise your hand. Place the applicator, and make sure not to press the applicator too hard. (This won’t hurt)

4. Next, peel off the Ultrahuman patch and apply it over the glucose sensor.

There Are Two Methods to Sync Data with The Ultrahuman App

Prerequisite

  • To sync Ultrahuman Ring AIR and M1 NFC is required.
  • Operating System: Android 10 and above are the only supported versions.
  • Supported Models: iPhone 7 and above.
  • iOS Versions: The app is compatible with iOS versions 15.6, 15.6.1, 15.7, 16, and 17.

Method 1

1. Download the Libre 3 app (available in both the Play Store and the App Store) and create an account. Make sure you use the same Gmail ID to create a Libre account that is linked to the Ultrahuman app.

2. Scan the sensor using the Libre 3 app. Place the device on the glucose sensor and wait till the scan is completed. The sensors will take 60 minutes to be activated. After that, it will collect data.

3. Download the Ultrahuman app (available in both the Play Store and App Store) and connect it with the Libre 3 app to sync the data.

Always keep the Libre 3 app running in the background and keep your mobile within 33 feet of your sensor for better data reception. Moreover, with the Libre app, you can enjoy a no-scan experience. After the initial scan with the Libre 3 app, you no longer need to scan sensors manually again. Your readings will be automatically updated in the Ultrahuman app every 20 minutes.

Method 2

1. On the Ultrahuman app, go to the Metabolism tab.

Promote Metabolic Health With Ultrahuman Ring AIR & M1

Like many other smart wearables, Ultrahuman AIR is focused on key health vitals like sleep, stress, skin temperature, activities, and other body biometrics. However, these are not enough if you want to address your metabolic diseases or wish to have better control of your health.

The truth is, what “we eat” always differs from what we are “supposed to eat.” No matter how strictly we follow a diet chart, we are unable to track the real-time impact of the food on our bodies. The Ultrahuman Ring AIR and M1 patch syncs data to fill up this “gap.”

Ultrahuman M1 collects the glucose data. It gives me an overall metabolic score, real-time glucose level, and food score between 1-10 (shows glucose rise in mg/dl caused by a particular food intake). The Ultrahuman app combines these data with the health vitals captured by the Ultrahuman ring to come up with personalized and precise insights tailored for “me” only!

“Metabolic health needs” differ from human to human. For instance, if you are a soccer player, your metabolic health needs are not the same as mine. Hence, if your smart ring is only suggesting insights based on your HR/HRV or calorie burn (which is not always accurate), it’s not that effective. Ultrahuman Ring AIR syncs data with the M1 patch to address individual metabolic health needs effectively.

Most importantly, Ultrahuman understands how different sleep stages are affecting my metabolism and vice versa. With the guidance of Ultrahuman M1 coaches, it became easier for me to understand which foods are increasing my body’s glucose level and how to control it.

Since Ultrahuman M1 is using glucose as a biomarker, I can easily understand how consuming a particular food at a specific time is affecting my health. Besides, Ultrahuman is using this real-time glucose data to correlate with the movement, body, and sleep data from Ring AIR to improve metabolic health. The best part is that Ultrahuman is sharing activity insights based on glucose patterns, HRV, and sleep data to decode my recovery and metabolic functions, which is commendable.

How Will Ultrahuman App Notify You About Your Metabolic Health?

Ultrahuman nudges are the best. This app not only syncs with M1 for glucose insights but also triggers notifications to alert the user. Here are a few notifications that often pop up when you are syncing the Ultrahuman app with M1:

1. Hyperglycemic Events: Whenever my blood glucose level rises more than 120 mg/dl, I get notified by the Ultrahuman app. This nudge also suggests taking a walk or stretching.

3. Gluconeogenesis Events: Gluconeogenesis is the sudden spikes that sometimes occur during exercise, which is good.

4. Ideal Glucose Range: When my body glucose range is ideal, Ultrahuman notifies me about my health stability.

5. Epic Starts to the Day: When all of your body vitals are stable, including blood glucose level, Ultrahuman motivates users to stay on track by sending this notification.

6. Primed for Activity: When your blood glucose level is ideal for doing any activities, the Ultrahuman app will notify you to do so for better health achievements.

7. Nocturnal activity: The Ultrahuman M1 patch monitors blood glucose levels even when you are sleeping at night. Controlling Glucose levels can only be achieved with a healthy diet, proper meal times, Good sleep, and stress management. Hence, Ultrahuman Ring AIR and M1 sync to find out how your blood glucose level is impacting your health vitals at night and vice versa.
